The path to becoming a professional artist was anything but expected. After a career in healthcare, life changed direction when the arrival of a significantly disabled child required her to step back from work and studies. Art became both a refuge and a lifeline—an essential outlet for expression and healing.

Painting grew from quiet therapy into a renewed sense of purpose. With the support of local galleries and community arts organisations, Pia’s work has been exhibited across Perth, including recognition as a competition finalist. Many online sales have seen work travel to homes across Australia and internationally. ​
